How does FLANNO plan to help to reduce suicide rates in Australia?
At FLANNO we’re passionate about helping charities who are doing great work in mental health and suicide prevention. We’re not the experts and we dont pretend to be, however we’re determined to help those organisations that are helping to make a difference, with 50% of the profits from the sale of FLANNO merchandise directed to charities we think are doing work.
How does FLANNO support charities in the mental health and suicide prevention space?
FLANNO supports charities in a number of ways. This could be through cash donations or supporting key initiatives, awareness days and events including IDAHOBIT DAY and RUOK DAY. We also have a strong and growing online FLANNO following on social media and so we can also support charities through online promotion.
I’m interested in placing a bulk order, how do I do this?
Awesome! Yes, we can handle larger orders depending on your quantities and time frames. The FLANNO is also the perfect shirt for Mental Health Awareness Days or FLANNO Fridays at your workplace, sporting club or community club. Contact Kath or Penny at sales@flanno.com.au with your FLANNO needs.
What does the hashtag #theflannoeffect mean?
When we started FLANNO we had a goal to make good shirts for a good cause. As FLANNO has grown we’ve realised we can have a much bigger effect through our customers and social media followers. With each Flanno shirt you’ll get a Keep Card with some free and confidential support line phone numbers. You can keep this card in your wallet in case you or a mate might be going through a tough time someday and be in a mental health crisis. We’re working to reduce the stigma around mental health by opening the conversation about mental health and suicide on our social media pages. We call this unexpected flow on effect #theflannoeffect.
How will my FLANNO order be sent and how long will it take?
Orders are sent via Australia Post using standard shipping with order tracking. You’ll get a text message or email update to let you know the status of your order once processed. Is you live in a metro area you can expect your order in 2-5 standard working days. If you have a special request such as overseas shipping , email sales@flanno.com.au and we’ll do our best to help you out. All FLANNO orders are packaged in No Issue Eco-Packaging.
What’s FLANNOs policy on locally made?
FLANNO is a Western Australian owned and operated Social Enterprise. We’re always on the look out for ways to go Australian made and support other Australian businesses. When this isn’t possible we take all measures to ensure our products are made ethically through reputable manufacturers with solid reputations for doing the right thing. We welcome contact from local businesses keen to work with us, especially those in the clothing manufacturing industry.
